Buggin. With all the niggas in the game that you can consider trash lyrically like:
Oj Da Juiceman, Murphy Lee, Alfamega, Tony Yayo, Swizz Beatz, The Franchise Boyz, Soulja Boy, Jae Millz, Nelly, Puffy, Mims, Mike Jones, Omilio & Sparks, And the list goes on and on and on...
You CANNOT throw Killa Cam into that lot.
I have to beg that he was single handedly one of the most entertaining yet lyrical rappers of the early 2000's. Not to mention he has dropped several classics and maintained a somewhat consistent level of longevity as most rap acts came and left.
If you listen to any song that you thought the beat was hard and the ad libs was funny, listen to the lyrics. He says the same things as your favorite rapper, he just takes a different route to get it across. Truly one of the more innovative lyricist of our time with rappers like Gucci essentially borrowing his complete style from to metaphors to subject matter. Not to mention he helmed, what turned out to be the modern day east coast N.W.A., Dipset (you had to be there to feel me).
Cam'ron is far from a laffy taffy rapper. And to say anything to the likeness is erroneous and unwarranted.
